Do NOT believe the photograph accompanying the description of this hotel - it is a lie. None of the rooms look like that.

Our room was small, had no window and had a very low ceiling that made it feel incredibly claustrophobic. There were no coffee/tea making facilities either. The a/c was controlled centrally within the hotel building and so we could not alter it for our own room - meaning that in the height of summer, we were literally freezing. The worst thing, however, was the appalling shower in the bathroom. It gave no pressure whatsoever and was like washing under a dripping tap. The pressure would sometimes go so low that no water came out at all!

We complained about the shower on the first morning, and were assured something would be done. It was not. We complained a second time and asked to be moved to a different room - but we were told the hotel was fully booked. They said they would make sure something was sorted out for us, but once again when we returned in the evening, the shower was just the same. We were then shown another room, but this room was even smaller than our own and the shower suffered the same problem! On our penultimate night we were finally moved to a new room, but this time the toilet did not flush. When we complained, we were told that there were no further rooms and there was nothing they could do about it.

The only thing I could say to recommend this hotel would be its location - everything else about it was miserable. Rome is a city with lots of delicious food - so make sure you stay somewhere that won’t leave a nasty taste in your mouth.

We have just returned from a three day visit to Rome. My wife and I were looking for a reasonably priced hotel near the center of Rome. The hotel is small and basic but served its purpose for two people who wanted to have a clean room, private bath, and a central point to see the sites of Rome. There are definitely no frills with this hotel. Our room was very small (but clean) and the bathroom could have been a bit more comfortable. However, if your main goal in getting a hotel is simply to have a place to sleep after touring Rome all day, this place was definitely adequate.

The hotel is located right next to the Piazza Venezia and situtated at the beginning of the Via del Corso (one of Rome's main shopping districts). The best way to describe this hotel would be to call it "practical".

Hotel is in terrific location, walking distance to everything.... Rooms were as seen on hotel website, staff very helpful.

arrived 8/10/08 for 4 nights it was 23 degrees out side. we were given a room on the 4th flour this room was in an attic with no natural light comming into the room only a 2 foot square sky light leading up a shoot onto the roof.after a sleepless night we asked too be moved which we were too the 3rd floor the staff were very helpfull.this room was much better it had a window leading out onto the plaza venezzia wich is a 24hr plaza the noise was unreal and when we closed the window the heat in the room was unbearable you just had too leave the window open for some air so we got little or no sleep for the 4 nights. the bathroom was a joke i had too put one foot in the bath too sit on the toilet bowl .iwill say do the room was spotless and bathroom ,i would not return tuu this hotel again or recomend it
