This is a unique hotel. It only has 4 rooms, each individually designed using modern designs. Nice touches include free wireless and mini-bar. When you arrive, a single door sandwiched between a small shopping arcarde leads up a narrow staircase to "reception" - this is a iMac on a side table with only one member of staff ever on duty.

Breakfast is ordered (as there is no dining room) in this hotel and it's delivered on time each morning by polite friendly staff - it's well presented and of excellent quality.

When we arrived we were told there was a problem with our shower which got worse on day two - the drain was partially blocked causing a minor tsunami. The manager offered to discount our stay and not charge for one night which was equivelant to 300Euro without being asked. The hotel is a 2 minute walk from the top of the Spanish Steps and nearest Metro (Spagna) so ideally located. In some ways the rooms are like one bedroom apartments decorated in modern / minimalist style with B&O hi-fi's. Oh and the bed is one of the most comfortable you will ever sleep in!

We recently stayed at the Suite Sisitina in their Tutta Tonda (circle suite) Everything was fantasic we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.
After staying in several large 5* hotels around the world I can honestly say that this little secret gem in Rome exceded all of our expectations.
The room was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was served at a time you requested in your room and was delicious with a good variety to choose from.
It was the attention to detail that made this place special....and very different to large hotels.
The location was excellent and we walked to all of the major sites the hotel itself is only 20 metres from the top of the spanish steps.
If you are looking for a romantic and truly amazing stay in a small and private setting this hotel is for you.
We would have no hestitation in recommending this hotel to friends and family.

Like most people that have a hectic travel schedule, in and out of countries for meetings etc... it's seldom that I have a chance to sit back and enjoy a city like Rome.

In March my girlfriend decided to make space for both of us and booked a trip to Rome but wanted to make it a personal and unique experience for both of us.

After a lot of searching she found Suite Sistina centrally located near the Spanish Steps in the heart of the city. This place is perfect, fitted out to the highest standard well above all the top branded hotels I have stayed at through out Europe and with a very private feel to it.

When you arrive your presented with a simple wooden door to enter at street level and what lays behind is just perfect if your looking to get away and have a romantic city break in Rome.

Really large round bed, twin tub (in the bedroom) room built in sound system and a mini bar. All of the lights, LCD screens and aircon are all centrally controlled with loads of mood lighting which all added to our stay.

To some up Suite Sistina it has to be the attention to detail. Some one thought long and hard at the expected guests requirements and set a target to achieve it which I felt they did on all front's. The staff were great and lived the attention to detail service level as nothing was too small to ask for.

A few tips from our stay: Arrive early, you can really relax and get in the mood for Rome at Suite Sistina; Take an early morning carriage ride from the base of the Spanish steps around the city (we did the Vatican and the coliseum it was perfect).

I would be surprised if you found a better hideaway in rome than Suite Sistina.

If you are looking for a memorable escape and a quiet retreat in the bustling city of Rome look no further than Suites Sistina! Tucked away on a narrow street just a stones throw from the Spanish Steps you will find this gem. Every detail was thought of from the handmade luxury soaps to the well stocked (free) minibar and luxurious bedding. We stayed in the Presidential Suite which has a balcony overlooking the street. With the double windows you don't hear a thing from outside.

Daniella, our host, was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. There are only four rooms in this place so for one night we had it all to ourselves. The rate is about the same as you would pay at a big, non-descript place where you can sleep in a box...you will be blown away by this boutique hotel. As a side note just down the road I recommend stopping by The Hassler and having a Bellini in their gorgeous Salon!
