I booked a room just for one night as I had come from Venice and I was flying back home from Rome. For one night, it is not too bad. However, there was no air-conditioning and during September it is extremely hot. The room itself was rather spacious compared to other accomodations in Rome. Breakfast was just so-so - toast with jam and coffee. The shared bathroom was acceptably clean but was a little damp. However, the host was kind enough to prepare a small breakfast fare for the next day since I was leaving very early. Overall, though, I have stayed in better budget hotels/B+B but Cristiano Vacanze Romane was not a bad value for the price.

We stayed at Cristiano's B&B for our honeymoon. Cristiano was very hospitable during our stay. Croissants were available for breakfast daily with coffee, tea and Sicilian orange juice which Cristiano kindly gave us a box of to take home to the states with us.

The location is very convenient to shopping, the Colosseum, San Giovanni church, restaurants and the metro.

We stayed in the red room which has its own bathroom in the room. The room is spacious and simply decorated with a desk, armoire and mini fridge. This room is at the end of the hallway next to two other bathrooms. The plumbing for these bathrooms can be heard inside the red room and is pretty loud. My husband and I often woke to the sound of a flushing toilet or running water and we are typically pretty sound sleepers. The bathroom in side of the red room is also very small. I'm told this is pretty typical of European bathrooms.

All in all the B&B is worth the price paid.

We booked our room through a b&b reservation site, which had very good reviews on Cristiano's Vacanze Romane. Our expectations weren't defrauded.
We stayed in the red room, the one who has inside private bathroom, every room has a different colour and different type, as you may check on his website (too bad i couldn't find it previous to my reservaton, it's very simple and precise). The room is very nice, it has a fridge, tv and a fan, space and Cristiano still offers wi-fi internet. The bed is very comfortable.
Cristiano is a very nice guy, he was always helpful and prepares you a home made breakfast good enough to start your journey in Rome.
One of the things that will stay in my vacation memories is the old-fashion elevator, those kind of things you won't surely find at any hotel. Really a must!
Depending on what you may want for your vacation in Rome, it can be really a great location to stay. It's in a calm and quiet area, near S. Giovanni metro station and S. Giovanni Church. From here you can easily walk to the colosseum, termini station (where you can catch the train to the airport, metro and the hop on hop off buses (beware of the A110 line if it rains!) and it takes you about 10 minutes.
Nearby, in Via Emanuelle Filiberto, next to the shoe shop there's a café which makes you a very good espresso, for what we paid 0,70 eur each.
Intending to return to Rome, it'll be definetely where we going to stay! Thanks Cristiano!
