So many problems, so little time. The most egregious was on the last day: my husband stayed back and read a book in the lounge while my sister & I went sightseeing. He asked the desk lady (Spider-Lady based on the spider web tattoo on her arm) for the nearest restroom. She sent him to the basement which required going up 15 steps, then down ~30 steps to the maid's WC, which he had to re-trace to the lounge, not knowing that in the lounge where he was reading THERE WAS A BATHROOM! Did I mention that he uses a can due to recent knee surgery? And he has a bladder disorder that makes him use the facilities almost hourly? And, yes, she WAS aware of these conditions. Unconscionable! She had an attitude on every shift we had to interact with her. The other ladies were OK, but I got the feeling that asking any question was an imposition.
Second was the music pounding Wednesday night. Even with ear plugs, I had a hard time going to sleep. Fortunately, it stopped a little after midnight.
Hotel was decorated for looks but not function. No towel hooks - where do you hang the hand towel after washing your face? No counter space for make-up bag. Only liquid soap in a dispenser, not sure if it was shampoo in the shower or soap, either way one was missing.
At breakfast I was told I could only have 1 cup of coffee, after that I had to pay!
We'll NEVER stay at this hotel again.
