My mother and I stayed for a couple of nights at the end of May and can say this b&b has been a very good choice. In a quiet street at the Independence Square, the b&b is both out of the city's noise and hustle, yet only 5 mins of walk to the Termini Station. Windows of the b&b overlook a bus stop, if you decide not to walk at all.

A superb supermarket near the location, where many locals do their everyday shopping.

The b&b itself is newly refurnished and redecorated - spotlessly clean, smells nice. This esthetic look was very important to my Mum :) Clean bathroom, large towels, soap and hairdryer.


Both Gianluca and Pino have been very polite and helpful with any requets we had. Patient and willing to help - even when we needed to find a particular place to do our particular shopping, we were given a map and bus directions on how to get there :)

Great, peaceful place, with eccelent location and great staff - what do you want more? :)

Spent one night - 11 th March 2008, double bed with shared bathroom, on the 2nd floor.

Wonderful big room. Very very clean ( important to me and daughter). Bathroom at the end of the corridor was spotless.

The receptionist / owner was business-like, a man of few words! Didn't matter to us.

Will come again.

We have just returned from Rome having stayed at the Independence Square Inn B&B for 5 nights, near Termini Rail Station, walking distance to the city center and almost all tourist attractions. The room and bathroom were small but very clean and newly equiped, any problem with hot water and central heating. The staff was friendly and very helpfull (Pino, thank you for hairdryer!). I would recommend also a trattoria-restaurant downstairs run by the family owning the hostel. Fantastic Italian cuisine from Abruzzo region (wine Montepulciano d'Abruzzo was perfect!). The guests of the hotel are given 10% reduction for dinner. I would recommend this hostel and if i go back to Rome I would definetly stay there again.

Great location near Termini station. Restaurant downstairs was run by the same staff, and they were really lovely. Great, affordable food encouraged us to splash out and have a couple carafes of wine and desert whenever we ate there. Rooms were lovely, wooden furniture and nice tiled floors. Bathroom down the hall was lovely, new and clean. Safe area. Breakfast included was a couple of croissants with fillings and a juice and a coffee. Pino, who served breakfast was a real character. Lovely place.
