We searched high and low for an affordable option located centrally in Rome. We were so lucky to stumble across Navona Garden Suites during one of our searches. We stayed in the Rafaello Room for 4 nights while on our honeymoon in Italy. While it is a small room, you cannot beat the location or price (we paid just 100 euro a night, roughly $150 US dollars). You are just steps away from Piazza Navona and Campo di Fiori and about a 5 minute walk to the Pantheon, 10 minutes to Trevi Fountain and about 20 minutes to the Colesseum, Roman Forum, Villa Borghese & Spanish Steps. We walked everywhere and loved it! Another big bonus is that Linda, the concierge, was absolutely fabulous. She gave us tons of great tips, restaurant recommendations, and called us cabs when we needed them. Although she is not there 24/7, she gave us her cell number and told us to call anytime. They also kept a well stocked fridge and pantry full of snacks and breakfast items in our room. If I had to say one bad thing about this place it is that the walls are pretty paper thin, but our neighbors were not noisy, so it was not a problem. Stay here, you will not regret it!!! We can't wait to go back!
