We loved the tours we took with Angel Tours in Rome on 6/15/09. Angel Jimmy led our Vatican tour in the morning and he was great! We loved the amazing things he pointed out in the tapestry room as well as his detail regarding the Sistine Chapel. But, the piece (sorry no accents on this computer) de resistance was the Quintessential Tour with Angel Tom. I know that most people are scared away from this tour by the cost, but it was worth every penny! Almost four hours of flying through Rome's traffic in golf carts was fantastic as were Tom's narratives. On the Quintessential Tour we saw many things that we would not have had the time or energy to see; like the views from the Gianicolo. This tour was just piles of fun! Angel Tours has got to be the best tour company in Rome. We would certainly use them again the next time we are in Rome.

Want to give you some feedback on our tour. We had a great time, and Ken was a fantastic tour guide…..just the right amount of information, more if you asked specific questions. Very knowledgeable, and personable, injected some humor where appropriate. Overall a very enjoyable experience (despite the heat and crowds). We will definitely recommend this to others. Again, want to praise Ken for his wonderful job!

We toured the Vatican with children and tour guides included them well.We where there a couple of days each side of NewYearsEve. Rome was packed with what appeared with mainly Italian tourists which is fine if you dont mind huge crowds. Our tour guide at the Vatican said if we had arrived after the 5th or ^th of Jan Rome have been pretty empty so if can manage those dates it will be much easier to move around the city.

Did the Roman Forum & Colosseum tour in the morning with Jimmy, no regrets...without him it would have been just another photo taking place...
if you have done some sort of history course or extensive reading, you won't know where to look and Jimmy does it with ease and makes it all the more interesting with other bits of information...
Heart of Rome tour in the evening...we have been through the places on our own over the past 2 days...felt like photo taking places again...been there...done that...but with Jimmy along it was a whole new experience again...we learned so much more and combined with info/experience in the morning we saw how much history was intertwined which enabled us to SEE things around the city of Rome and not just dismiss them as just another statue or obelisk...
