We were in Rome from May 18th-24th as part of our European honeymoon and booked 3 tours with Angel Tours. The booking process was smooth but the highlight was Jimmy. Jimmy is what the perfect tour guide should be: Knowledgeable without being didactic; Enthusiastic; Passionate about the history and top it off with a great sense of humour. We both learned a lot and other than Capri- the Tours were the best part of our time in Italy. Please tip him well- he deserves it!!

We started on our first evening with the heart of Rome walk with Ken....a great introduction to the city. Jimmy guided us round the Vatican/St Peters on Saturday and then the Colisseum on Sunday. We still had plenty of time to do our own exploring and lingering over meals, but the tours meant that we saw and learned so much more than we expected to have managed in a short trip. The quirky, slightly irreverent humour of the guides added to the pleasure.

We used Angel Tours in April '09 for touring Vatican City, Forum & Colosseum in Rome over a two day period. What a treat it was to have Jimmy K as our guide. He kept us entertained with so many little tidbits of history that we would never have heard if we tried to tour on our own. Would highly recommend using Angel Tours.

On a freezing night the tour guide actually waited for other couples to show up for a good 15 minutes but only us and one other couple made it. She was nice and gave us a good tour. Definitely worth it.
