On a freezing night the tour guide actually waited for other couples to show up for a good 15 minutes but only us and one other couple made it. She was nice and gave us a good tour. Definitely worth it.

we booked a tour for the vatican and i was worried i would be bored. however, our guide did a brilliant job of making the millions of paintings and sculptures fascinating. the tour was fast paced and there was lots of humour. also, we loved the scottish accent. the vatican ended up being one of the highlights of our stay in rome.

Our guides were from Ireland and were well informed.They made our tour come to life. By passed the long waiting lines at the Vatican and the Colosseum.No more than 15 persons per group. Great Value!!!

Met by a gift shop on a square facing St. Peter's. Jimmy - who's Scottish - was a true art history buff whose mix of friendliness, humor, knowledge and healthy cynicism made the tour the highlight of our various museum visits/walking tours throughout Rome and Florence. The Vatican Museums are breathtaking and overwhelming...Angel Tours gives you a glimpse of the best of the best while educating you about the most important works (especially the Sistene Chapel) before you start out. If we had a few more days, we probably would have gone back to the Vatican Museums for another day on our own, just to poke around at a more leisurely pace, but with Jimmy as our guide, we really felt we gained a true appreciation for the beauty and history of these special museums. I don't think he took more than 5 breaths per hour!!! Tip these guys - they go above and beyond a typical tour.
