We booked our room from hostelbookers.com, and paid less than 30 euro a night per person. The hotel is very conveniently located near the Victor Emanuelle stop on the metro, but if you plan to walk it is a long way from the hotel to e.g. the Vatican or Villa Borghese, better to take the metro.
It is important to have the address and a map in order to find the hotel, since there is no prominent sign, merely a name on the call-button listing. Our hostel in Naples was the same in this regard.
Our room was spotless and comfortable: cable TV, A/C, hairdryer, good and hot water. The only complaint was that one of the shower doors had slipped partway out of its track and was annoying to move, but it shut perfectly well.
The breakfast service was very nice (just call 21 on the inroom phone to summon it) and we found the hotel staff friendly and extremely helpful the whole time, even going so far as to call another hostel for us whose deskperson only spoke italian, so we could change our reservation. We left our luggage with the hotel on our last day so we could explore and it was unmolested. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of this hotel, especailly for the price we paid!
