My wife and I took the sunset tour with Eden Walks with our guide Rossa. We had taken the Vatican tour the previous day but didn't find it particularly interesting mainly because it was more about art history. The sunset tour, however, was extremely interesting and our guide was very informative and could answer any question on the history of Rome. Every crack in every wall has an amazing piece of history attached to it and I just found the whole Rome experience breathtaking.

My husband and i took the vatacin tour and it was excellent. As well as seeing everything we were told of the history behind it which made it so much more interesting and amazing. These guys really know their stuff.

I saw that someone had taken the Vatican and Sunset tours in one day... I tried... if i were you, unless you had to (like me only there for 1.5 days) I wouldn't.
The Vatican tour was led by Max, and was very informative. Clearly 1 days is not enough, and to have gone round the following day on my own would have been better.
The problem was St Peters is the last stop, but because I had to dash via taxi to the other tour, I was only able to run in, look up, and run out of it again :-(
The Sunset tour was also a great way to see the main sites.
Once you have done these tours, apart from going back to see them in your own time, the only thing to see is the colosseo.
Rome demans more than 2 days... but I got to see everything I wanted....
