My husband and i took the vatacin tour and it was excellent. As well as seeing everything we were told of the history behind it which made it so much more interesting and amazing. These guys really know their stuff.

I saw that someone had taken the Vatican and Sunset tours in one day... I tried... if i were you, unless you had to (like me only there for 1.5 days) I wouldn't.
The Vatican tour was led by Max, and was very informative. Clearly 1 days is not enough, and to have gone round the following day on my own would have been better.
The problem was St Peters is the last stop, but because I had to dash via taxi to the other tour, I was only able to run in, look up, and run out of it again :-(
The Sunset tour was also a great way to see the main sites.
Once you have done these tours, apart from going back to see them in your own time, the only thing to see is the colosseo.
Rome demans more than 2 days... but I got to see everything I wanted....

Our tour of the Vatican was the best in Italy. Our guide knew how to keep us all informed and entertained during the tour. I was especially amazed that our children (7& 9) were never bored. I wish that we had booked our other tours with them.
