The first thing I must say is that having stayed in Rome twice now I realise you don't get much for your money, which isn't the San Danielle Bundi's fault; if you want better you'll have to pay more. That said I was a little disappointed with some aspects of the B&B. Our room had obviously been thoroughly cleaned in some areas, but walking across the floor barefoot meant that we transferred hairs into the bed which definately weren't ours. In need of a vacuum rather than a sweep maybe? There was also no shower door on one side so the floor got very wet whenever we had a shower. The room wasn't huge but big enough for us and reflected what we paid.
However it was noisy as it is in a building along the Via Cavour a big main road. We couldn't have our windows open at night for this reason, but the location made the hotel dead easy to find at least. It was also very central, especially for the Roman Forum, Colisseum and train station which were all within walking distance. We also walked to Trastavere, the Centro Storico and the shopping district around the Spanish steps without too much trouble, and there is also a metro stop 5 mins from the hotel, all of which was really helpful. I think in Rome for the money we paid you either get location or nicer accomodation, and since we were only there 2 nights I'm glad we were in a central location.
The San Danielle Bundi is an annex of another B&B where the reception is, although it's hard to figure this out. When you arrive ask for your breakfast vouchers and anything else you need as you'll be given a set of keys and pretty much be left to your own devices. Breakfast was in a nice enough cafe across the road, and was a coffee with a pastry and bread and jam. You just present the voucher and they bring it to you.
Other info worth knowing; there's no air-con but a good working fan in the rooms, there's a lift, and you can access the internet but it's the reception computor, so you won't want to look up more than urgent information as the receptionist (who spoke good English) was standing behind me waiting to have her desk back!
