If you're in Rome purely to walk around sightseeing all day, this will serve the purpose. It's small, very bare, no views and outdated. Breakfast is served outside in the halfway; no staffed service, you take the food back to your room, coffee is from a vending machine. However, it's neat and seems clean. I would probably have preferred staying somewhere nearer to the Trevi (nice, buzzy environment) and in a hotel with a little more to offer so you feel like you're actually on holiday rather than on a school trip. It's a little like a dormitory, but good if you're on a really low budget. The location is a stone's throw from the Colloseum, but quite a walk to the Trevi, Pantheon and Spanish Steps.

I stayed at the bb Hotel twice. The first time the room was nicer than the second time around, both rooms were very small.
The place is clean, the breakfast arrangement is original... and the location of the hotel is very convenient.
The nicest thing are the people working the reception. I seldom met nicer and more motivated staff. Helpful and always eager to please.
Their friendliness makes up for the fact that the Hotel "over all" is a bit basic.

If I am correct the person who has wrote the review below I was actually the person and their mum standing in reception. The hotel is very small in Reception there is a small desk with one person sitting behind it and a chair you could easily fit 4 people in the reception but it is a tight squeeze and luggage is basically impossible. There is some information on the left hand side as you come through and the map they have their was the best one that we found in Rome. The Termini station is about a 5-10 minute walk but feels much longer after you have got up early flown in the morning done the airport moves you are exhausted then you are in foreighn country having to be honest no idea where you are going. If you think about it no matter where you go for the first time the journey always seems longer. The hotel rooms are very small but very comfortable the beds are lovely you have plenty of blankets so if you get cold and there is air conditioning which is the best thing in the world after walking around Rome all day in the heat. In the Room that I had was two twin beds with very little room between them. A built in cupboard with the right amount of storage space for a weekend, a pull out little table which can easily be put away and a little chair which can be easily put away if needed. The room I had was over looking the main road and I could easily lean out of it and watch what was going on outside (no bars). The breakfast in the morning you have to get up early for it otherwise there is not much left my mum ran out at 7:30 and said their was loads of stuff out their but when we left the room at 9am their was no much. Breakfast consists of Ham, Cheese, yoghurts, different flavors of croissants, lemon or apple cake, a sponge chocolate cake and doughnuts. Not the healthiest but that’s the Italian way at breakfast. I think the hotel is in a brilliant location its about a 10 minute walk to the coliseum there is a bus stop NO 71 stops about 10 seconds from the hotel and there is some fabulous restaurants down the road. This is very much a residential area for the Italians then where tourists stay we went to the restaurant La Carbonara and we were the only British ones in their. They did not have an English written menu so luckly one of the waiters spoke English and could tell us what they had. The food was brilliant the wine was only 6 Euros for ¾ of a bottle. One tip it is much cheaper to drink with your meal then drink after so try and stay at your table and have a drink before leaving. A little way down the road and then take a left there is a nice little plaza with a few restaurants on the right hand side the second restaurant is amazing the food was delicious another pure Italian restaurant no tourists in site. In the same place there is a gelatin which is 2 Euros as is amazing very busy with the locals in their. I don’t know where they booked their hotel from because I paid 255 Euros for three nights so at the time of the exchange rate I paid £209 for three nights for two people this was very reasonable. If you need any more help please email me and I’ll be glad to help.

B&B Hotel we wanted a quite European break, but the B&B hotel has very small rooms – small as in where the double bed has been slotted into the room - there is just the width of a small cabinet at each side and then it’s the wall. I don’t know which room is pictured on the web site, but the table was a fold down unit off the wall and seating was literally perching at the bottom of the bed. There are no chairs in the room.
Bathroom is small and confined, wedge yourself between the toilet roll holder and the single shower cubicle (which the shower head was impossible to secure in a fixed position) and you can use the toilet. Don’t use the hook adjacent the WC to hang clothes or towels, as this swivels of the wall and whatever was on it gets dumped into the loo.
Breakfast as promoted on the site is ‘A full buffet breakfast is included in the price and served to guests directly in their room’ Reality is a very basic (and I mean basic) continental breakfast which is left out on a table in the hall at which point they elect to plug in the coffee and fruit juice machines – after which they are promptly disconnected.
Its advertised as ‘Offering fantastic value for money, this low cost Rome accommodation provides the ideal option for travellers looking to make the best of Rome on a shoestring budget with some home comforts and luxuries thrown in there as well’ At 450 Euro for three nights bed and Breakfast, I must have a very different understandings of ‘Value for money’ notwithstanding the poor £ to Euro conversion, its still very expensive for what it is.
Its only good point is location being central you are ten minutes stroll away from most attractions. But it’s not the 500 yards (as advertised) away from the Termini. It’s a good twenty minute walk with your cases, nearer a mile than half a mile
Rooms are clean. Our room had security bars (Prison) and I assume the way in was the Fire Exit out? Because we couldn’t find any designated route
The ‘hotel’ appears to be on the first floor with residents living on the above floors. Ground floor ins a small receptions – small as ion when we checked in there were two people in reception checking in and I had to wait on the step because we couldn’t fit 4 people in.
Lastly don’t dare close the door firmly going out, or some bad tempered Italian guy who lives on the ground floor comes out after you, giving you instructions on how to close doors.
Would we return – I don’t think so, 10 minutes tube ride from the city there are better value, better facilities with four times the room size (no joke)
