You may want to practice walking sideways in a broom closet before entering your room at B & B Hotel. We stayed there three nights and enjoyed every minute. Staff were unusually friendly and rooms were extremely clean. It was perfectly located, as we walked all over Rome from the hotel. It is tricky to find, and we passed it three times in both directions before finally finding it. We were looking for a regular door, but this hotel has a simple, one panel door in an apartment building with an obscure logo for the Hotel.
We arrived in the early morning and our room was minutes from being prepared, so we sat in the lobby and talked to the desk clerk who was handsome and wonderful. He helped us out immensely. Across the street on the upper left corner is a wonderful little shop, a Paniteria, the oldest in Rome. It is run by an elderly woman who was very proud she was still in business because she sold everything under the sun in a 2 x 4 store. It has been in business for over one hundred years and she has been there for 40 years. Where else in Rome can you get a large bottle of water frizzante for .70 Euros.
Some reviews were negative on breakfast, but my husband absolutely loved it . Every morning he woke up and darted down the hall sideways to grab his tray for coffee and pastries and a coffee for me waiting in the room for his return.
All in all it was a wonderful place to stay because of its perfect location, clean clean rooms, and great service staff.
