“Excellent value for Money”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2010

Great location, clean, friendly and economical in a particularly expensive location. Breakfast /brunch can be purchased locally for very reasonable cost and you are. Within 50 metres of the Vatican and the main artery routes of Rome.

Federica and Filipo are very friendly, informative and multi lingual, unlike me who is only informative.

The apartment building is located near (5 min walk) the Vatican. The room was ok, quiet but nothing special at that rate (considering Rome is expensive).

We stayed four nights, and they provide one paper thin bath towel per person. No change of sheets, one skinny dishwashing cloth. No soap, no salt/pepper, and 2 rolls of toilet (sand) paper. The kitchen accomodation was very basic.

There was no A/C or heating while we where there.

Note that the staff is very helpful.

Photos and webpage look very nice but it is really part of a low middle-class complex of apartments -you cannot see this until you arrive- It is smelly and noisy. There is no service at all from the staff who barely speaks English.

Phone did not work during all the stay, A/C worked one day and the other. We took a large aparment and space is very limited, the kitchen is really a simple kitchenette with a few forks and spoons. Beds are cheap and very uncomfortable.

Most importantly people are not friendly, and have no idea of customer service.

Many priests and nuns stay there. I assume is part of their vows or penitence...

This Hotel was just superb for the price!

Big rooms, including kitchen and appliances, great location just 2 minutes away from Saint Peter's Basilica, and amenities like supermarket, transport, etc.
Not far from the Hotel there are lots of trendy restaurants and shops.

The only complaint would be the towels, there are so thin as sheets! that you can't get dry at all, so maybe bring your own. Apart from that everything was just perfect.

I would recommend this Hotel 100%, for families, and couple travelers as well.

Excellent value for money, a real bargain!

Great place (aparthotel) just 5 mins walk away from Vatican!

Nice, clean and spacious rooms with kitchen amenities (there was no microwave but there is an electric hob, cutleries etc).

Nearest Metro station is about 15-20 mins walk away. There is a supermarket at 10 mins walking distance.

St. Peter's Basilica is very near to the hotel (5 mins walk)

Overall a satisfying stay!

  • Liked — Proximity to Vatican, supermarket and good accomodation
  • Disliked — No microwave and no 24 hrs reception. Metro station is 15-20 mins walk away
