I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, it met and went beyond our expectations. We originally tried to stay at the Hotel Santa Maria (the sister property), but it was full, so we booked a room at the Residenza instead. There are so many selling points here I'm not sure I can list them all, but I'll try: super-friendly staff, immaculately clean room, charming decor, ideal location, entirely smoke-free property, *delicious* complimentary breakfast each morning, great shower, wi-fi in the room (we skyped our family daily!). Residenza guests can also enjoy aperitivo (buy a drink and eat complimentary appetizers) at Hotel Santa Maria. The room we stayed in (room 3) had an adorable little patio with a small fountain, and the size of the room was much bigger than we expected (compared to the room we had in Paris, it was huge). The air conditioner worked great... I honestly cannot think of a negative thing to say about the Residenza, or about Trastevere in general, which is a great little neighborhood. We took advantage of the Residenza's offer to book a car service that picked us up at Fiumicino airport and brought us right to the Residenza's door - a smart choice as we were dead tired on arrival and would not have wanted to go it on our own with public transport. On departure, we cabbed it to the Roma Trastevere train station and caught that train back to the airport. The best cappucinos we had in Rome were right there in the Residenza breakfast room - thank you! We cannot wait to return to the Residenza in the future, and would absolutely recommend this hotel to our friends.

I was in Rome to run the Marathon. The hotel was perfect for me (us); small, very nice staff, good bathroom. The location was perfect: on walking distance from the Forum Romanum and the Colosseum and in the middle of Trastevere.
WE will return to this very pleasant small hotel.

I was in this Hotel for my holiday with my girlfriend and we enjoy there quite a lot of great thinks and one of the think which helped us with spending time was this Hotel. We enjoyed there very romantic and quiet atmosphere. Also the staff of the Hotel was very friendly. I think that the Hotel is nicely placed in a very peaceful part of Roma but it was not so far from the City Center where are the most famous places. We are very pleased that we choose this Hotel to spent our vacation. I hope that I was not there for my last time and I will be looking forward to visit this Hotel again.
