This place was immaculate. A tight squeeze but comfortable and they took great care of us. More like a bed and breakfast. Husband and wife. They are extremely kind and helpful. YOu can easily walk to the Vatican. Which was perfect for us, because we walked over to St. Peters at 7 am and practically had the whole place to our selves.

If you don't like to walk the owners will help you understand the bus routes or call you a taxi or you can just spend a couple bucks for an all day pass on the hop on/off double decker tourist bus. Which works well too.

We recently spent nine lovely days on our first visit to Rome, which included staying at Antinoo B&B -- conveniently located very close to the Cipro subway and bus terminal, and a brief walk from the Vatican and St. Peter's. Hosts Adriano and Hiromi were very helpful with excellent recommendations for food (be sure to eat at nearby Falcone, a delightful inexpensive neighborhood eatery with excellent home-style cooking and very friendly waiters). Quiet, cool, and comfortable at a very affordable rate, Antinoo is a very good budget alternative for travelers who want basic amenities (supermarket, laundry, delis, tasty Italian fast food, Internet cafe, bakery, gelato ice cream, etc.), within close walking distance. Give it a try -- you won't be disappointed.

We did not really stay at Antinoo because there was a burst pipe there and we were put up in a new B&B which was fairly close to the tube station. Renata is probably the best thing that this place has going for it. She is simply spectacular. The blinds at the new B&B came off and we did not have sunshine coming into the room for the whole time we were there. The breakfast was plentiful but pretty average. I don't know if I would stay here again but if I ever started my own hotel I would want Renata to come and work for me!

Antinoo is a pretty nice B&B, which is just 5 minute walking to Vatican Museum. The host Renata is warm-hearted and helpful. She even waited me until 11:30pm at the night when I arrived.
The breakfast is delicious. I lived in the single room. Though the room is small, everything is clean.

I have stayed at Antinoo hotel for a week in April 2008. I was amassed how clean everything was. The room was not very big but well furnished, and Renata was an angel. She had waited for us even if we didn't arrive in time. When she heard that we don't eat milk, meat and eggs she bought for us some vegetables in the morning, even if she was usually served for breakfast sweets and coffee. Ana, who took care of us that week was very attentive and helpful. I would absolutely recommend this hotel. If you are traveling by plane or by train it's very easy to reach the hotel. The hotel is approx. 10 min. walk from Vatican city, and you can reach almost every side of town by subway. Next time when I will go in Rome I will choose this hotel again.
