Just got back from 5 hours with Gabriel at Through Eternity who took us through the Vatican - part of the art collection, Sistine, Basilica. He was brilliant (not even telling us off for being 15 minutes late - Rome traffic! - although we did ring ahead to advise of our lateness) and took a small group (8 people) through a fantastic journey in time, art and the development of Christianity in Rome. I learned more about art history in this 5 hours than the previous 58 years (then again, I did train as a scientist nt artist!).

He never sounded like he was 'on a script' and as a 6 year resident/student clearly knew his stuff.

Thoroughly recommended.

How often have you been on a tour and found you know more about the destination than the guide? Or the guide provides a canned presentation? Not so with Through Eternity! On June 20, 2009 my boyfriend and I toured the Colosseum and Roman Forum with Rob at Through Eternity. What a delightful experience, truly unforgettable. Rob provided an in-depth explanation of the history, culture, art and anything else our group had a question about it. He brought to life what looked like ordinary objects. His enthusiam, vast knowledge, and friendly style felt like we were touring the area with an expert friend. This is the way to experience Rome -- in a small group with a true expert. Don't miss this opportunity.

I went on an all-day tour of the Vatican and a morning tour of the Forum, Colosseum, and Palatine Hill. They were both awesome. Justin does a great job of putting everything in context - of explaining the significance of all of this to our modern civilization. He makes it all very immediate and relevant, as well as entertaining and fun. He obviously has a great breadth and depth of experience, and can answer almost any questions knowledgeably, from the details of ancient Roman life to recommendations about where to eat or what to do around Rome. I highly recommend these tours to anyone.

We took the Vatican tour with Gracelyn at Through Eternity. Graziella (her italian name) was able to keep our interest alive for 7 hours as we toured the Vatican Museums including the sistine Chapel. Not only was Graziella very smart and knowledgeable but she also communicated in a fun, passionate and energetic way. We proceed our trip to Pompei and then to Athens where we took other tours and we wished we had someone as interesting as Graziella guiding us in those places. She made our experience at the Vatican unforgettable and really brought the history and art alive to us. In fact she is so good, we joked that if some TV station would find her, she could have her own show like Rick Steves. But the show would be a lot more fun with this italian-american as a host.

We just came back from Rome. The only tour we did was Vatican. Our tour guide was Justine. He was absolutely great. Very knowledgeable guide and very interesting tour. We got a lot of information from Justine and it wasn't just dry facts, he made it very entertaining a very pleasant experience. We spent 6 hours in Vatican. I would definitely recommend this company and Justine as a tour guide. I rarely write reviews, but the tour was just great!
