Paid over £400,00 for the second night (27 May) due to the Champions League Final - knew in advance, so no complaints. Left the hotel late morning, returning at midnight to Ffind our room (211) had not been cleaned nor had the bed linen been changed or the beds made.
We complained to the night manager who said he would report the matter to the General Manager, but nothing happened. We also asked for an early mornign call, but even that small task was not fulfilled. The breakfast was terrible and neither hospitality or politeness were part of the service offered at this hotel. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Now, upon reading some of the negative reviews we were a little afraid, but it turned out better than expected. We liked the location: about 10 minutes walk from subway station, about 15-20 min from Colliseum. Rooms were clean and modern - and they had working AC, which is not common at all in Rome. Breakfast was OK (not super).

Overall, it was great value for the money (we paid about $140/night including taxes via Expedia) and great location too.

This hotel looks to be very chique and modern on first glimpse but its problems soon become evident. Specifically, our bathroom smelled vaguely of sewage, the breakfast included in the room rate was terrible, the staff was surly and the hotel was robbed by gypsys (this is who the desk clerk blamed) while we were there....apparently they broke in somehow and stole laptops and other easily portable items from the rooms...seemed very shady to us, I would not be surprised if the staff were in on it. Also the hotel is on a dirty and slightly sketchy street and lcoated kind of on the periphery of all the main attractions, not at all worth it, very overpriced.

This Hotel is a very good value for your Rome-money. Early check-in possible if room is avbl. and storage for bags/suitcase after check-out!! Modern and clean rooms with a/c , satellite flatscreen tv, good windows and friendly service in a quiet sidestreet just about 3 minutes to Subway and many Buslines incl. Nightbus service. The rooms might be on the small side but nicely furnished, just the lack of a showercurtain at the bathtub was a bit disturbing and can lead to some flooding in the bathroom. Chambermaids where very quik and efficient. The Breakfast-crew usually had a hard time stocking up clean plates and bowls as well as keeping up to clean tables.
Careful: If your Creditcard is from a non Euro currency Country, insist on being charged in Euros and let your Bank/Institute do the conversion.
