good location: walking distance to the metro and to the Colosseum. The only weakness of the hotel is the breakfast.

Prime Hotel Saint John is located in a walking distance from Colosseum. The room was clean and tidy and the bathroom had jacuzzi. It is a definetely 4 stars hotel and I would go back there again for the price I paid for!

whilst the rooms were very small, the hotel was very clean and well run. The reception staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. It didn't matter that the hotel room was small because the purpose of our visit was to sightsee and explore the wonderful city of Rome. Walking distance to the Coliseum and easy access to the metro providing easy access to all the main sights.

I stayed with my mom at this hotel for 3 nights on December 2008. The hotel is fairly new, with a contemporary style. The room was clean but really tiny. If the bathroom door was open, I couldn't pass by. The temperature was great for when we were coming back from the cold weather. The bathroom was big and clean. The tv wasn't working the first night and when I called the front desk, they told me they didn't have a maintance person in at that time. They never offered to change rooms or anything. The tv was fixed the next day. The hotel is walking distance to the colisseum but far from the rest of the attractions, even thou the subway is 1 block 1/2 from the hotel. We walked from the subway station to the hotel at night and it was dark and lonely, but we made it there safely. Breakfast was great and a great way to start the day. The front desk service was just not very friendly, but just ok. Something that surprised me was that they didn't have internet service. The closest one was around the corner from the subway.
