We booked the hotel a few months before our trip and then about a week before I was reading the reviews and they really put me off so I was really worried about what we were going to end up with.
However, we got there and straight away I just thought, what are people on about? The hotel was lovely, we got there early (before we were allowed to check in) but we were able to leave our luggage at the hotel so we could go off for a bit, the staff were really helpful.
I was a bit disappointed about the fact that there was no jacuzzi in the room as I had been lead to believe we were going to have one, but I guess it just depends on the room type, and to be honest we weren't really that bothered anyway.
The room was lovely and clean, from the photos I thought it would be bigger, but it was everything we needed.
It wasn't in the centre of Rome but to be honest I think where ever you stay you may be near one thing but you still have to travel around to see everything, and it took us about 10 minutes to walk to the Spanish Steps and about only 5 minutes from the metro, which was extremely useful.
The only annoying thing was, on Saturday morning we were woken to building works going on! Oh and we were told we would have free wi-fi in the room and found we actually had to pay for it.
Breakfast on the terrace every morning was lovely, the buffet was fine, nothing too fancy but couldn't complain.
Overall, I would definately stay here again and thought it was a great accommodation.
