We picked MD Luxury rooms for our honeymoon. Firstly, we arrived on a sunday and had to sit on the steps for over an hour waiting for someone to turn up and let us check-in.
When we finally got into our room, it was tiny!!! We couldn't even fit our luggage in the room!
There was no hot water at all, despite it only being 4pm.
The room described on the internet is not what you get, and when i said this to the boy ( and i'm not being condiscending, as he was just a boy) that checked us in, he told me that i was wrong and that this was the room, and the other rooms shown were "Luxury Rooms", despite the name of the place being "MDM Luxury rooms". Anyway he changed our room eventually to a slightly bigger room, this one had a bath where the other one didn't.
They supply an "information" booklet which is about as useful as a chocolate mug! everything in it was in correct.
The breakfast comprises of a couple of croissants and tea.
The rooom itself is small but clean, but very noisy!! We were woken every morning at about 7 with drilling, banging, hoovering and god knows what other noises.
I won't be staying in this hotel again, and it kinda ruined our honeymoon a little bit as we thought that we were "splashing out" and getting something special, how wrong.
