MDM Luxury Rooms is located within half a kilometre of the Vatican Museum entrance, which makes it easy to get to the front of the queue early. The room we stayed in at the hotel had clearly been modernised fairly recently. It was the cheapest room in the hotel and so was quite compact, but it still had all the amenities you needed. The staff were quite helpful with suggestions about how to travel to different locations and allowed us to use their laptop to access the internet. The only slight drawback was that we struggled to find any restaurants in the immediate area that weren't just aimed at value for money. However I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone.

Had a lovely time at MDM, rooms are very small though unless you go for the honeymoon suite. That said it was fine, bathroom was brilliant (fantastic shower), comfortable beds, flat screen TVs & a lovely guy on reception.

Only thing I would say was that the breakfast was very limited and brought to the room so it felt a bit like a bedsit. You order your breakfast the night before and they bring it to you. You literally can choose between different croissants, chocolate muffins and melba toasts and that its all. Id advise a trip to the supermarket and keeping your breakfast things in the minibar.

Good location for the Vatican, close to the Metro, good value for money for what you get as in decor & location.

We stayed in MDM luxury rooms for 4 night in late may and it was absolutely wonderful!
The rooms are exactly as described at the site, the staff very helpful and the location couldn't be better-next to a metro station!
Of course as a bed&breakfast you don't have service every time of the day, but we didn't really need it..

We're definetely staying there next time in Rome-the coins in trevi fountain will do their job ;)

We stayed at the MDM Rooms Rome April 2008 for three nights. The location of this property is excellent, very close to the vatican and the metro. Room was small but well presented. Bathroom lovely, the jacuzi bath was great after a long day sight seeing. Would definatly stay again and recommend.

I was absolutely thrilled with this bed and breakfast in Vatican City/ the staff were so kind. My accomodation was the least expensive and tiny. It was immaculate, well furnished, nice linens and free wifi. Two blocks from vatican museum. Study map carefully. there are good shortcuts to various vatican locations. It is a private condo. I felt safe walking the streets alone at night. Many sidewalk cafes for dinner. Next to metro....
