Just returned today from a week in Italy. We spent 2 nights in Florence 2 in Rome, 2 in Venice and 1 night in Pisa. The 2 nights I spent in Rome we stayed at La Sosta B&B. The B&B is very clean, safe and ideal since it is very near to the main Railway station of Termini. The B&B is more than comfortable if you intend on using the room just to shower and sleep. Havent met anyone who goes to Rome to stay in a hotel room anyway. Breakfast is the same as you get in any other B&B in Italy - coffee juices croissants toast and jam. The only difference is that all these items are prepared in a cupboard with a numbered shelf according to your room and you just help yourself even in doing your own coffee. Still worth the money you pay normally in Rome.On arrival we also agreed with Simone the time we could leave the room. Owner is normally present every morning and is very helpful too. Would highly recommend it.
