The Hotel Artorius is a very well-maintained, friendly, small hotel on a small street in central Rome. It is in a very convenient location: the Forum, Colosseum, Trevi fountain are a short walk away, and you can catch a bus to the Vatican easily from very close by.

Our room was of a decent size for a triple, and very comfortable and spotless. The staff were very cordial and went out of their way to help.

The only thing keeping it from getting a "5" is that I expect a nicer room for the price we paid. Granted, there was nothing wrong with the room at all, and prices in Rome are very high in May, but neither the room nor the value warranted a "5" for me. A "4" is pretty good!

We booked this hotel after reading other reviews, and we are so glad we did. The hotel is wonderful. It is close to many attractions, the staff were extremely helpful with regard to places to eat, and the complimentary breakfast was delicious. The rooms were clean and spacious and beautifully decorated. If we ever get back to Rome, we will definitely stay here again.

The staff at Hotel Artorius are the greatest. They are glad to assist you with anything that a weary traveler needs. They set up a tour for us, gave a advice on restaurants and provided help in many ways. The breakfast is good and is served in a room with a lot on ambience. This is a good place to have a glass of wine later in the day. The location is excellent for the major points of interest in Rome.
