We chose Artorius after reading the reviews on TA. The hotel did not disappoint. Spotlessly clean. Staff was very helpful, friendly and attentive. Breakfast in their courtyard is very nice. Would highly recommend staying here.

Disaster. Inaccessible even by taxi. Stuffy room with a/c in the whole hotel turned off, a promised quiet room on the street is a catastrophe, early 10am check-out offensive. Unless you are guaranteed a large room on a high floor in the back, cancel your reservation. It's clean for sure, but no extra pillows, bleak design inside the rooms, Overall BE WARNED.The plastic flowers in the lobby should tip you off. And at 180 Euros for a double, it's not even the greatest deal if it was good.
That Trip Advisor can have so many positive reviews mystifies me, and frankly , it scares me off trusting TA again.
They are'nt unpleasant here but just do not recognize the reality of what at least the street side rooms offer. Stay away. We found other hotels in neighbourhood (Four star btw) available for same price, it emerges, and much nicer...

Choosing a hotel in a large city can be intimidating and I often use trip advisor to help me make a choice. Hotel Artorius was a good choice. The room was small by North American standards but it was nicely decorated, extremely clean and comfortable. The location is excellent for exploring Rome and there are a number of good restaurants nearby. The staff is extremely friendly and accomodating with lots of advice. Breakfast is excellent and served in a lovely courtyard. I would highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel lived up to its No 1 Rating.A beautiful small hotel,immaculate rooms,friendly staff .Buffet Breakfast excellent.
The hotel is also ideally located within walking distance of most
of the main attractions lots of good resturants close by
