“Central, accessible, simple”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2013

Travelled to Rome over a year ago and stayed in this hotel.
It was very accessible as it was right beside the central train station and made it very easy to travel out of the city to our next destination and getting here was very easy from the airport.
The rooms were simple. Ground floor had windows quite close to the street so it could be noisy if you wanted to sleep in (not that that ever happened). Clean and very helpful staff.
The price was decent and overall would say we had a good stay, and would likely stay again in the same price range.

We stayed only one night and then change hotel. The room is very small and the bathroom too.
The mobile (Wind italia) doesnt have wave inside the room.
We took a hotel in the same street with 3stars for only 10€ more, and we had a great time.

Dear customer,

we are sorry for your opinion, but it is not our fault if the telephone signal Wind does not reach everywhere. (Tim and Vodafone don't have signal problems.)
In addition, you have seen the room before booking it and you liked it, now why do you leave a negative judgment? We do not understand and if the problem was the size of the room, you could ask for a room change, why did not you tell to us? Your opinion is not for us to consider, fortunately many customers leave reviews on Tripadvisor adequate and truthful, so much so that we have received the Certificate of Excellence for value and price in this central area.

Yours faithfully,

Stayed here for 3 nights with the gf and I was verry happy with the hotel. It was spotless, if we left the room for an hour after waking up we would return to a clean and tidy room with new towels. FYI...There is only a hand full of rooms in the hotel (5-6).

The hotel is 5 minutes walk from the metro, train station and a supermarket (Conad). Great location in terms of quiet bars and restaurants and walking distance to all the attractions, Trevi fountain, collosseum etc (30 minutes max). There were a few things I thought could have been done differently however. There is a curfew from 2am - 6am which had me and the gf running from a piazza at 1:30am as we were having so much fun we lost track of time. You also leave the key at reception everytime you leave and must ring the front door bell to access the hotel (which I guess is good for security reasons). The other disappointing thing (and I am being picky) was that the curtains and blinds did not really cover the large wiindow in the room so at 5/6am you were hit with bright light and as a result I tended to wake up real early, a bit too early.

All in all though a great place to stay.

Stayed one night before taking a morning train. It is a quick walk to Termini, and we were able to walk around and see quite a few sights the afternoon before. The hotel is on the first floor and there is some noise from the street, although the heavy windows mute it quite a bit. You can also hear the noise in the hallway as others observed, but it was quiet by night time when we were there. Breakfast is not included, but there are many coffee shops nearby. You should be aware that the openings to the shower are very narrow, I would guess they were less than 18 inches (45 cm) wide. We are average-size people, and were able to get in sideways, but a large person would have a problem.

Stayed two night in a double room. Our room was clean and simple. Its not 5 star, but we felt the price paid matched what we expected. Our room faced the street which initially we thought may have been noisy, but we weren't really bothered much. Location was convenient to everything we needed. Small shop right outside the door stocked drinks and snacks and we ate several times at the restaurant across the road. Short walk to the train station and was close to the hop on/hop off busses.

It was difficult to sleep in this hotel in the night. You could hear every step outside our room, door rings and others. Please remember, all the floor is covered by tile and if you are not looking an accomodation for a hot summer, you will have to go on the icely cold floor.
This hotel does not worth its' price for a room.

Room Tip: I can't recommend this hotel. Look for something else

Dear Guest,

thank you for posting your candid opinion on TripAdvisor. I just wanted to say that I am really sad that you did not find big value in your choice. "Value for money" it is usually of our selling point, sorry If you felt like you were overpriced, unfortunately in high-season time of the year rates might be higher, but still lower than the average of the other 2-star hotels in the same area.
Our location is central, convenient for travel and sightseeing, but like all big cities also noisier. I do not understand a thing, Don't you like a tiled floor? I chose this alternative because I consider it much more hygienic than the carpet.

Best regards,

What do you expect from a very cheap hotel centrally located in the capital city of Italy. Took some finding on the ground but we persisted. They are in the process of upgrading the rooms and we had one of the rooms that had not been done. Basic but quite large. Clean with a comfortable bed. Decor and furniture was shabby but we only sleep in the room so it isn't too important to us . Would return. Helpful staff recommended an excellent restaurant, "The antica Boheme" round the corner.
