Arrived about 1000PM from LAX flight. Checked in no problems. Hotel is very clean and nice. Our room was small but had one of the best showers on our trip. Great water pressure and heat control. The area the hotel is in has quite a bit of grafitti around it. This kind of made my wife and I feel uneasy when we ventured out for dinner at 1030PM. The streets are well lit and the person at registration said it was a safe area. After walking around for 15 minutes and finding a nice place to eat my wife and I felt much more comfortable.
The beds felt fine to us. Everyone talks about the hard beds in europe. We have a high quality mattress at home and the hotel mattress was almost the same feel. Linnens were of high quality also and the room was spotless. One of the cleanest rooms that I have seen in all of my travels. The highlight to the 1 day stay was the morning breakfast. We enjoyed some of the best cold cuts and cheese that we had in our 2 weeks in Italy and France. The two beautiful women that were taking care of the breakfast area were very proud of the product they served and it showed. The cold cuts and cheese are cut in the kitchen right next to the serving area and are as fresh as can be. They were GREAT! The coffee was good and strong like we expected they even had an automatic espresso machine that you woked yourself. The rolls and yogert , toppings and the cereal,OJ and fresh milk were all great. The eating area like the rest of the hotel was spotless. This hotel woked great for us and exceeded our expections after reading reviews on TA. We took a tour of Rome the next morning which ended at our cruise port. On the tour we found out that it was not only the area by the Yes hotel that had grafitti which was light compared to the rest of the city. Rome is full of it and it made us sick to see 2200 year old objects sprayed with grafitti. Be prepared to see a sight worst than downtown LA. Don't dwell on it just look through it and see all of the beauty there is to be seen in this wonderful city.

Nicely refurbished and close to train station. Air conditioner did not work. Extremely small room but quiet. Our friends had a larger room on the street but it was noisy.Despite offering a 10% discount for cash payments on their website when we arrived we were told this only applied to 3 night stays. Not good value for money.

Price paid per night: 85 euros
Would I stay again for the price? Yes
Would I recommend it for the price? Yes
The good:
- location, if you are arriving and departing Rome by train
- staff, very friendly and helpful, especially Raoul (sp?) at check in
- new air con which is very effective
- strong shower is nice sized bathroom
- comfortable bed
- nice breakfast
- good security
The bad:
- nothing

We arrived on a Sunday night and went to the hotel based on location near the train station and Trip Advisor recommendations. We haggled for price and got a room for 85 euros for 2 nights, prepaid. Unfortunately they had nothing for our last 2 nights and this is the risk with not pre-booking (but then you pay more). The hotel renovation 2 years ago was clearly excellent and everything is new, modern, clean and works well. The bed and air conditioning (it was over 30 degrees of heat each day we were there) were particularly nice. The breakfast is quite good and served in a comfortable area. They have a computer for guest use in the lobby but its much more expensive than the internet points around the corner (which have no air con however).

We stayed here for 5 nights in May and were very happy with the hotel. Staff are friendly and efficient, especially Raul and Rhodora. Our room 605 with street-facing window in annexe (triple room) was very clean and comfortable, if a little small for 3 adults, but we managed. Our fridge wasn't working at first but was fixed the next day. The breakfast was very good with plenty to choose from. The hotel was very close to the station and we walked just about everywhere or caught Metro for day at the Vatican. The only problems we had were a leaky (very small) shower and an air conditioner which turned itself on randomly through the night to the lowest setting so I woke up freezing - couldn't seem to get that sorted out for the 5 nights. Would highly recommend Yes Hotel to anyone wanting to be close to the station.

We stayed in the Yes Hotel for four nights in our first trip to Rome. We picked this hotel due to its consistently high rating on Tripadvisor and in general we were not disappointed. The hotel is only a few minutes walk from Termini station and very easy to find (I had located it using Google Streeview in advance). The reception staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke good English.

The room was small, but adequate. Bed was large and comfortable. There was a new flat screen TV including some English language news channels (BBC News 24 and CNN). There was a fridge, which was useful for cooling bottles of water (the temperature was 32 degrees celcius outside). The room included a modern quiet air conditiion unit that was so efficient that I got quite cold on the first night and had to swtich it off!

Breakfast was adequate. Consisting of croissants (iced!), bread/toast, cold meats, cheeses, cerials, fresh fruit and yogurt. The coffee was undrinkable, but tea was OK.

Being close to Termini station, access to all the main sites was easy. We purchased a three day "Roma pass", which includes unrestricted travel on the metro and buses and free admission to two state-run museums or other attraction (such as the Collesium). As the hotel has no resturant it is necessary to eat out, but there are numerous good resturants. I would recommend the La Famiglia on the Via Gaeta, which is only a few minutes walk (we went here twice).
