“Good little hotel near Roma Termini”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2014

We chose this hotel due to its location. It is about a 5 minute walk from Roma Termini station. We had heard bad things about this area in Rome but found it perfectly safe and were not worried walking around at night there. Being so close to the metro and bus station made it easy to get around to all the attractions. We took a taxi one night out to Campo di Fiori (square with lots of bars / restaurants), this costs approx. $15 – one thing we found strange about taxi’s in Rome was that they charge you from where the driver receives the call. So if he was several miles away you get charged from there.

We received a free upgrade to a larger room which had 1 double bed and 2 singles, probably due to January being a quiet time of the year. I am glad we visited this time of year and the queues for attractions were not too long and I can imagine in the summer it is a bit of a nightmare with all the tourists.

The room was really clean, had extra pillows and blankets and all the basic facilities e.g. hair dryer, toiletries, TV with several English news channels. The only thing I wasn’t impressed with was the shower as it was a bit small. Wi-Fi was available for a fee of $2 a night per device and worked well.

Breakfast was basic, not the greatest selection of food or drink but included in the price so cannot complain.

We did walk past the hotel a couple of times as there is no sign outside and only on the door.

Overall, I would stay again as it was a convenient location and affordable choice in an expensive city.

The location is very convenient near Termini station and next to the airport bus.The facilities are fine even for a relatively small room.Breakfast was good and adequate. The reception staff was friendly and helpful in recommending a nice restaurant nearby.Upon arrival I did find the person a bit annoying by not accepting my driver's license as a valid ID card. All in all a pleasant place with value for money.

We booked this hotel at the last minute after finding our planned accommodations lacking. It was a great improvement. First, the hotel staff was great. Upon arrival they did not have our booking we'd made online about 20 minutes before. Dimitri at the front desk allowed us to go on to our room and while he verified our reservation. After we finished checking in, he was extremely helpful with telling us how to get to various sight, how to best manage tourist crowds, and with opening hours etc. He also had some great restaurant recommendations.

The hotel is very modern and clean. Our rooms were relatively spacious for Roma. Our bathroom even had a rain showerhead. I would absolutely stay here again.

we stayed here last year and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. the reception staff were very helpful and gave some great restaurant suggestions, (try mamma angelas). hotel was clean and modern and good location to get to station. slightly further away from main atractions but thy are still easily walkable, and benefits from being slightly further away to get lovely little (and cheaper) eateries. all in all great value for money.

Located two blocks from Central Termini, so it's easy to get everywhere. Rooms are modern and very clean with a roomy bathroom. Only drawback is that there is quite a bit of street noise, so try to get a room on an upper floor. Very nice staff; typical Roman hotel breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.
