We stayed here for our honeymoon, and we could not have been any happier. The people that work there are THE NICEST EVER! They have thought of everything.. slippers a foot bath (great after a day of walking like crazy) a jacuzzi back massaging shower, and very nicely decorated rooms. There is an espresso machine and lots of snacks and drinks in the room that are very reasonably priced. This hotel is also in the BEST location ever. It was a ten minute walk to the Colosseum, four blocks away from the Pantheon and has Campo dei Fiori right behind it (best Piazza ever) it is also five minutes away from Trastevere, the best area in Rome. In front of the hotel are some ruins, where Ceasar was killed!!! We loved everything about staying here, and will stay there again, the owners and staff are the NICEST most HELPFUL people ever!

My first visit to Rome, I was nervous, so much information to sift through, then you get to Rome. Wow! the city is so beautiful.
The propeitors and staff at the Pensione Barrett, give really good advice and are extremely patient. The Room was small, however you soon acclimatised. We had a room facing an internal courtyard with only another room as a neighbour and did not experience any of the problems experienced by previous guests.
All in all - a very clean establishment with caring staff.

This hotel was great. If you're on a budget then this is perfect! Situated on Largo Argentina - where there are a crazy collection of cats, it was incredibly handy for the Campo de Fiori and the Piazza Navona as well as the Pantheon.

Close to great restaurants and bars. The hotel was so cosy and warm and the bed comfortable and what might be the cheapest mini-bar in the world! The gentlemen on reception were so nice to us and recommended a great restaurant which we ended up eating at twice!
