Great location indeed and a good effort on the decoration style.
BUT the quality of your stay will vary widely depending on the number of your "Superior" room. We used 5 of them, and experienced : windows which cannot be opened normally, a terrible smell in one of the room, a shower which was unsuable, racks which were at the height of a basketball player, a room so tiny (but charged like any "Superior" room) below the (Italian) legal standard 14m², darkness everywhere.
Above all, the staff / manager was not in position to change for a correct room, and preferred to charge us unpolitely with a full day "penalty" instead of letting us leaving the hotel.
I will not recommend this hotel compared to the vast top quality choice in Roma.

Very cozy place! We were staying at room 201 that overlooks the little plaza in via del Lavatore and we could hear the fountain with our windows open. The room was quite small but very well furnished and you don't really need a lot of space if you're out visiting Rome all day long. We had some minor issues that the staff was happy to solve and our stay at this hotel was wonderful.
Lovely breakfast with different kinds of cake, croissants and some sandwiches too :)

We booked very last minute (on the internet at the Airport) using laterooms.com and got a great deal. The location is ideal - literally round the corner from the Trevi fountain. The small walk to the hotel from Barberini metro was fine - you can't expect to be in the centre of things in a pedestrianised zone and still be able to roll up in a taxi up to the doorstep. We walked everywhere from here - 5 mins or so to the Pantheon, and then all the other sights beyond. No problems walking around late in the evenings - everyone else is doing the same too! Loved the pain au raisins at breakfast - the highlight of my day!! The room was big enough for the two of us, but not massive, but then we hardly spent any time in there! It was clean and modern which is what we love. Aircon, small fridge, huge shower with choice of a large or handheld shower head.

Found a great restaurant - loads of character and great food: Restaurant Maccheroni 44 Piazza delle Coppelle. For anyone spending in £s, the price of beer and alcohol is a big hit on the wallet these days, so those chilled out beers at a cafe, sitting in the sun at the end of the day cost more than they used to. On average it was around €6 plus for half a litre of beer. A lot of bars in Campo de Fiori seem to have happy hours early evening though which are worth hunting out.

Three years ago we stayed at the Hotel White ( five minutes walk away] but after my daughter stayed here in November of last year we decided to give it a go. Firstly, the location is fantastic ( two minutes away from the Trevi Fountain). It is above one of the best restaurants in that area - Ill Chianti - owned by the same family. Unfortunately, we had room 205 that although is very nice, the bed is in an alcove which just fits the area of the bed so doesn't allow for walkiing around so you have to climb on the bed from the bottom. and then walk on it as if on a trampoline. Anyone older than us would find it difficult (mid fifties). I think that this room should be reserved for the 'young'. Breakfasts where very good. I would certainly stay here again but would request another room if offered room 205.

me and my husband stayed for few days recently in this cute hotel to celebrate our 1st year anniversary. the location is amazing and the room was small but cozy and clean. the breakfast was the best we have eaten in my various trips, we enjoyed very much our stay at Trevi B&B and will definitely come back there whenever we are back to Roma.
