My husband and I recently returned from a stay in Rome and I was disappointed by our stay at the Trevi B &B. The hotel has no signage so we walked by it a number of times before we found it. Then you must carry your luggge up a steep set of stairs before you even get to the information desk. Also because it is in a pedesterian area the cabs have to drop you a few streets away. When we were leaving the cab was to meet us at certain street and the front desk had to look it up on the map.The front desk though very nice did not seem as comfortable giving directions as other hotels we stayed in. Our room on the second floor had no drawer space. Our luggage remained in our suitcases. Except for a small rod in an open closet there was no storage space. The bathroom was very clean and modern . The room had a window in the bathroom and a small window in the room both facing other buildings so it was diffcult to even tell what the weather was like. The breakfast provided was a typical Italian breakfast with cakes, meat ,cheese, but the expensive looking coffee machine gave my husband coffee with grinds in it. The restaurant in front of the hotel had good food but was severly understaffed with only 3 waiters for the entire place and they forgot to bring me my salad. The hotel is located in a very central area but my recommedation would be to stay at some place with more charm that is located near the excellent Roma metro.

  • Liked — Modern bathroom, location
  • Disliked — Lack of storage space, views.

Trevi B&B was recommended by my parents-in-law who raved and raved about this accommodation in Rome. We were not let down! The rooms are very recently and tastefully refurbished, the staff are helpful and friendly, and the location is unbeatable. It really helped make our stay in Rome a very special time for our honeymoon. My husband and I highly recommend it! It was a real home away from home. I can´t wait to return to Rome and stay here again.

Set in the heart of Rome's beautiful city is B&B Trevi. This hotel was exceptional for our stay. I surprised my boyfriend with a trip to Rome for his 21st birthday and wanted everything to be perfect including the accomodation. We stayed in room 201 which was the superior suite, (well worth the extra money). The bathroom was spotless and very stylish with a double shower, the bed we had was super king size and very comfortable. I couldn't have wished for a better hotel, it was steps away from the amazing trevi fountain and we got to see it every night and day in its beauty. Being so central also meant if we got tired of traveling during the day we could go back to the hotel when we wanted to. The food at the restaurants were delicious! I would reccomend this hotel to couples of all ages looking for a romantic break away!

P.s the only annoying element was the asian men trying to sell you roses, bags watches etc outside the fountain, it got a bit annoying after the 3-4 night but i guess its a popular attraction in the city.

the ladies working at the trevi were very nice. the location was wonderful too. however the standard rooms there are so incredibly small--even by european standards. if you stay there, you must get one of the deluxe rooms. we were told that the all the rooms have king size beds. not true. our room had a double--a king size bed wouldn't even fit. since you're hopefully not in your room much, i could look past the room size. however, our room smelled awful. it smelled like a nasty sewer. stay away from room 206. i am not kidding.
we did stay for a night in room 201, which was a deluxe room. if we had stayed there the whole time, i would actually recommend the place. however, the stink in our room was terrible--i swear it wasn't us.

This was excellent! Im sick to death of hearing people complain about silly things on this site. Trevi B & B was great value for money. In the thick of things, this quiet and stylish hotel is an absolute find. We got a larger room at a special rate, but would have paid more for waht we got. It had a massive bed, stacks of room for storing our six large pieces of luggage in the entrance, fridge, safe and heavenly airconditioning. Flat screen TV was nice- all Italian , but hey- who goes on holiday to keep up with TV at home? The bathroom was a stunner, plenty of space, slick new design, and the missing plugs in the twin sinks that seem to have undone some holidays for people didnt seem to worry us. The shower was wondertful after a day of sweting in the city, a massive shower head and a hand held attachment. Toilet and bidet. There was a pair of fauteuils and a butlers tray to eat at- but we didnt bother. It overlooked a courtyard and was very quiet. The Italian breakfast was great, and once again- youre in Rome, eat like a local. Otherwise theres a MacDonalds down the road. Speaking of eating, the two restaurants on the ground floor, owned by the same people, are excellent and we ate there several times. The staff and the owner were all so nice- helpful and friendly, assisting with luggage and dramas with tours and transfers. I cant praise this accommodation enough. We will definately return to this hotel.
