My husband and I recently returned from a stay in Rome and I was disappointed by our stay at the Trevi B &B. The hotel has no signage so we walked by it a number of times before we found it. Then you must carry your luggge up a steep set of stairs before you even get to the information desk. Also because it is in a pedesterian area the cabs have to drop you a few streets away. When we were leaving the cab was to meet us at certain street and the front desk had to look it up on the map.The front desk though very nice did not seem as comfortable giving directions as other hotels we stayed in. Our room on the second floor had no drawer space. Our luggage remained in our suitcases. Except for a small rod in an open closet there was no storage space. The bathroom was very clean and modern . The room had a window in the bathroom and a small window in the room both facing other buildings so it was diffcult to even tell what the weather was like. The breakfast provided was a typical Italian breakfast with cakes, meat ,cheese, but the expensive looking coffee machine gave my husband coffee with grinds in it. The restaurant in front of the hotel had good food but was severly understaffed with only 3 waiters for the entire place and they forgot to bring me my salad. The hotel is located in a very central area but my recommedation would be to stay at some place with more charm that is located near the excellent Roma metro.
