Hmm, where to start... I had set up a pick up w/ the hotel from Fiumicino by email and also confirmed it by phone 2 weeks before arrival and they never showed up. The hotel staff was rude and did not care that no one came to pick me up. I set up a wake up call for the following day... NO WAKE UP CALL! Thank god this wake up call was for a tour and NOT a flight, otherwise I would've missed my flight. If you put in a drink or food into their minibar fridge, they throw it out without telling you. And they also turned off the mini fridge from the reception desk without telling me since I put a drink in that wasn't theirs in there. Prices for their food are outrageous, and certainly without reason bc the food is terrible. The breakfast was the same everyday, the eggs were mushy and watery, service was slow to refill and did it with their usual nasty attitude. Francesca was the worst front desk person out of them all. Asked to speak with the manager, waited half an hour and he never came out. Victor who works in maintenance was the ONLY person in that hotel who cared to help us in any way he could, he was VERY nice. Hotel shuttle is very inconvenient and you must pay 1 euro per person each way, leaves you at a metro station w/ very infrequent stops. Public transportation is better, about 5 mins away. Even though you pay for it, don't expect these people to lift up a finger for you, they are terrible and can certainly ruin your trip. This hotel relies on the fact that perhaps once it provided good service and us fools go there thinking "oh it's a good hotel". You couldn't pay ME to stay here ever again. You will find at least one thing to disappoint you about this hotel everyday, mark my words. And they will do NOTHING to try to change that or make up for it. Other than that, RUN FOR THE HILLS AND DO NOT STAY IN THIS DISGUSTING HOTEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
