We stayed here for two nights and absolutely loved the hotel! The staff were very friendly and nice, breakfast was perfect, and it was a great value! Considering the cost of food in general around Rome, the breakfast really made the value unbeatable, especially since the room was huge, with nice modern furnishings and great windows looking onto the street. Extremely quiet because it is tucked away on a tiny street in the pedestrian area, be sure to print a detailed map, because its quite literally the only thing on the street. (Keep in mind its off the via del coronari and you'll be fine). Either way, the room was excellent, it had a full bath, even with a bidet. Breakfast included a great selection of beverages, pastries, eggs, and other bakery-style selections. The cappucino was delicious, we also had hot chocolate, orange juice,and for food we had Cereal with milk, boiled eggs, and rolls with jam and butter.

As for location, it was perfect. With buses easily accessible (the subway is pretty useless through central rome -- locals depend on buses and trams to get around), piazza novona literally blocks away, and the vatican a quick 5 minute walk. We were in absolute heaven. The streets surrounding the hotel are small, cobble-stone streets with cute little shops and great restaurants.

I will absolutely stay here any time I am in Rome, without a question. Probably one of my favorite hotels in the world, and I travel quite a bit!

Once found a great place to stay, tucked away in Centro Storico. Within walking distance of EVERYTHING!! We mean everything!!! (If fit and able.) We walked to every major sight and of course it is on the doorstep of both the Vatican and the magnificent (and free) Pantheon. We took a coach transfer from the Ciampino airport to the Termini train station and then a bus no. 40 (fast and frequent) 4 stops along to the hotel. Here is the only downside it took us ages to find the hotel. ALTHOUGH this maybe a fault that lies with our guide book and map to be fair to the hotel. Don't expect local shop owners, taxi drivers or other locals to know where the hotel is situated, they had no idea, it really is a small gem being only 11 rooms! Once found it is truly a treasure. A great place for a getaway and some time together. The room was stylishly decorated and had everything needed. High standards for a 3star hotel / B&B. Breakfast was as plentiful as you order....we ordered loads. There is no breakfast room so it is served when you want in your own room which is a nice touch. See other reviews for the full brekkie list! They do not lie! :) Would definitely stay again. And who knows we might just arrange that!!!

Could not imagine a better location. This boutique hotel is conveniently situated near the Palazzo Navona (2 minutes on foot). Clean, good breakfast, reasonably priced, helpful staff.

My partner and I stayed at the Relais Palazzo Taverna recently and loved everything about it. The location is perfect- 5 minute walk to Piazza Navona and Campo Di Fiore, a little further to the Pantheon. Some great restaurants nearby.
The hotel staff were all vere nice and accomodating. Breakfast was served in our room every day. It was very clean; really, no complaints at all. One of the best things about it was how quiet it was, which is hard to find in Rome. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel
