We paid 80 €/night, breakfast incl., booked through Venere. This 12-room town house suite hotel in Rome was a wonderful experience. We stayed here for one week, and except for the first night, when we got a spacious appartement next door that smelled of smoke, we were very happy with the hotel and it's surroundings. It is as centrally located in the historical centre of Rome as possible. In addition, it is in a pedestrian area, so it's really quiet. If you take a taxi to the hotel, it will bring you to the entrance, but if you come by bus, you will have to walk about 250 meters with your luggage. From the hotel, we walked to every sight, and there were lots of restaurants nearby. The hotel itself is a charming old townhouse with modern interiors. I'm Scandinavian, so finding IKEA design almost everywhere was a bit boring, but nevertheless the rooms looked nice and the beds were good. Nice, tiled bathrooms, and individually controlled airconditioning. Very serviceminded staff. There were no breakfast room, but in the evening you just filled out a form to order your breakfast, and it was served in your room at the requested time. Nice decent breakfast with choices like bread, croissants, butter, jam and honey, cereals, yoghurt, juice, milk, and various hot drinks. The coffee with warm milk tasted really good. There is no elevator in the property. We consider 80 € a night a bargain in early July. We would definitely stay here again.
