This hotel is in a great location, close to the Termini and via Nazionale. The staff was great, as soon as we arrived we were shown to the elevator (old skool and a tight squeeze, but functional), up to the 3rd floor, at the front desk we were given a map and directions to the sites (#64 bus along via Nazionale to Saint Peter's with stops along the way - only 1 Euro for a ticket!), shown the nearest Metro station for the subway, and walking route to the Colosseo . You have to leave your key with the reception, but they are open 24hrs, so no worries. The room was average, hard twin beds, thin pillow, no view whatsoever (could not open the window and it looked on to the inner courtyard balcony where the cleaning staff placed their buckets and brooms)....the bathroom made up for it though, because it was clean, very up to date, and cool pocket door to save room. There is an inroom safe in the closet and small TV. Breakfast was served in a nice dining hall, nothing extravagant croissants, cereal, cake, juice and the staff was always there to pour you a cup of coffee or tea. Overall a nice experience for a short stay in the city.

This hotel certainly doesn't have a grand entrance...reception on the 3rd floor of a private apartment complex. This in itself was something that we hadn't experienced before and had us thinking "What's the room going to be like?", but we were pleasantly surprised.

- The room is very clean and the bathroom is pretty new
- Our 3 days in Rome were all 35 degrees celcius +, thankfully the airconditioning worked very well
- Breakfast was okay (but was included in the room price so no complaints)
- Location was really good. We came in by train and only had to walk about 500m
- The hotel is approx half way between the Spanish Steps and the Colosseum

All thinks considered I'd say that the hotel is really good value for money. Nothing fancy but a great option for the budget conscious traveller.

Stayed here for three nights. Very clean room. We arrived at night and finding it was a bit interesting, but once we got to the third floor we were surprised at how modern, nice, and clean it was. Nice breakfast in the morning. Friendly front desk staff. Nice location, not far from the train station (we walked with our luggage from there).

Beware of the lady who owns this hotel....she is highly unprofessional and does not present herself well to her customers. This hotel is great in many areas to include location, breakfast, cleanliness, etc.; but the owner takes all this away with her rude and loud attitude. She does not have any appreciation for travelers. Hopefully, future guests will stay at this hotel when she is not working. The only other negative aspect of this hotel is the dingy courtyard you have to go through to get to a small elevator. The buidling in which this hotel is located could be spruced up to be a beautiful historical building. The bathrooms in our three rooms had been remodeled and were nicely done. Our rooms had new carpet and draperies. The breakfast was very nice and well presented.
