We stayed at Casa Giovy B&B in late April 2008. We contacted Giovanna, the owner as to what time we would arrive and were welcomed warmly by her and shown around our room. She provided a map and explanation of what there was to see and where it was located, and the best ways to get around. She had also taken the time to print out a list and information of tourist sites, and what could all be seen in the 2.5 days we were there. She was very helpful with any questions or special needs we had. A very tasty breakfast was laid out each morning to greet us, and a refridgerator full of juices and milk was available anytime. The rooms were clean and very comfortable and she even had movies available to watch if desired. I slept the best here out of any place in Italy in the 2 weeks prior. It felt like staying with family, a distant cousin. The location was close to the Vatican, only a 5 to 10 minute walk. We also enjoyed the restaurant she recommended, "Goose's" that was located around the block from Casa Giovy. We would stay here again and would recommend it to all of our friends.

Really good accommodation and location extremely close to the Vatican and major transport links.
Very friendly and helpful landlady who was able to offer practical advice on how to get the most out of our short stay.

Our stay at Casa Giovy was EXCELLENT due to GIOVANNA. We stayed 3 nights. Located in walking distance, with wheeled luggage, from SAN PIETRO TRAIN STATION. I'm 66 years young. GIOVANNA told us where, when and how to get around plus where to eat. Do ST. PETERS around 5:00PM. Her help in a strange country and city made our experience the best that it could be. THANK YOU AGAIN GIOVANNA!!!!

Casa Giovy was very simple but very clean and comfortable. It is in a great location for accessing the city. The rates are very reasonable. We had a great stay there. Giovanna who owns the b and b was absolutely wonderful. She was so friendly and helpful and overly accomodating to make our stay pleasurable. It is not a fancy 5 star hotel but we could not have asked for anything more, we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We would defintely stay there again.
