How much can be expected from the hostess at your B&B????? When we arrived to Rome, our luggage was lost by the airline and we were really anguished about it. When we arrived to the B&B, Victoria told us not to worry, to give her the information about our claim and that she would take care of it. She told us to go and enjoy the city while she called the airline, checked what happened and see that our bags were delivered to the B&B. AND SHE DID!!!!! The place is spotlessly clean, good size of rooms for Europe and location is quite well connected, but Victoria is an added value you won't find in any hotel, not even the Ritz, so please, trust me when I say she is amazing and will make your stay unique

Great hotel for the price we paid. Victoria is lovely and treats you like her own children - gives travel advice and prepares breakfast in the mornings. Our room was spacious and very clean, and the bathroom was small but spotless as well. Location is great for first-time travellers to Rome because you can find a bus from anywhere in the city that will take you back to the train station, which is a 5 minute walk.
For young couples, our bed was two singles pushed together, which we were not very happy about. Also, hot water had great pressure but did not last very long.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel for people who are worried about space, security (there were 3 sets of locks to get to our room), and cleanliness.

We stayed at the Principe B&B in early October 2007. Victoria was a wonderful hostess. Our room was small, but newly renovated with a king size bed. The bathroom was so clean it sparkled. There was a flat screen TV mounted on the wall and Internet connection in the room. The B&B is close to the train station and Metro and within walking distance of several sights. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Rome.

We stayed for four nights in Principe, it was a very pleasant experience. Victoria the owner made us feel very welcome and was very kind.
The B&B is located very close to the train station which is ideal for the metro, can save you having sore feet, most major sights are on the A line, but they are also within walking distance which is ideal for romantic evening strolls. The area is good despite what people say about being close to the rail station, its very busy all night long therefore safe, might be a little noisy for light sleepers.
The room was extremely clean with air con provided, bathroom was immaculate and there was plenty of hot water and towels for showers. Breakfast is served in a main kitchen area by Victoria and there is no shortage of food and she serves a breakfast that will keep you going all morning.
We would certainly recommend Principe and would certainly consider a return visit.
