My wife and I were just come back from Roma last night. We stay at Hotel Lodi for 4 nights. All staff were excellent there, they even carried our big luggage to our room while other staff gave us a short introduction for sightseeing in Roma.
They helped and tried to help with any problem (even we could not watch TV in the room due to the technical problem, but who was going to stay in the hotel and watch TV in Roma). The room was comfortable and clean. It was a residential area but because of repairing work on the road , so during the period we stayed, it was a bit noise in the morning , but it did not bother us too much since the noise was just a wake up call for us. It was a little out of the center of the city but we could easily take the bus to closest subway station and from there, we could go anywhere we wanted.

I strong agreed with other reviewer's commend that it was the care and friendliness of the staff made the stay in Hotel Lodi a very pleasant experience and I highly recommend Hotel Lodi.

My stay at the Lodi Hotel (also called the Hotello di Roma) was for 2 nights. The staff is INCREDIBLE! They advise on everything you need to know from 'have to see' places to restaurants and how to get to them. They help with any problem you may have and make you feel completely comfortable. The hotel is comfortable and clean. It is in a quiet area and is very secure. It is a little out of the hustle and bustle of the city, but public transportation is close and easily accessed. The breakfast at the Lodi is simple and delicious. The staff serve it in a delightful garden. I was there for 1 night with my disabled daughter (who was very happy there) and a friend and 1 night just with the friend. The Lodi accomodated this change in accomodation with no fuss, making it as easy for me as possible. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel.

My friend and I arrived here slightly frazzled with our backpacks and other luggage. The staff took one look at our sweaty faces and immediately brought water to help us cool off. Then they showed us to our room and told us to come check in once we'd had a chance to relax and cool off. Then they showed us how to see Rome without getting lost or stressed out (it worked!). What a welcome! The beds are nice and breakfast is wonderful, but it's the care and friendliness by the staff here that made our stay here wonderful. They even let us hang out in the hostel for an evening (and well into the morning) after we checked out because we had a 6am flight to catch and had no where to go. They were very helpful in helping us get to the airport at that hour as well. The hotel is a bit out of the way, but in a way it's nice to get out of really touristy areas and see a slice of how the Romans really live. I highly recommend Hotel Lodi!

This charming hotel made my trip to Rome wonderful. The staff is beyound helpful and make you feel welcome. The day we arrived it was hot in Rome and when i showed up they brought out some ice water and let me cool off. The hotel has been booked on bookhotelsinRome.com. Really good value for your money!
