We were 3 families traveling together (8 people). We traveled from the United States to Germany, France and Italy for 17 days. We stayed in 5 different hotels. Hotel Selva Candida was the best hotel of our trip.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, the towels were soft, the complimentary breakfast was delicious. The service was excellent and Francesco was the best!! We will definitely recommend Hotel Selva Candida to anyone who mentions traveling to Rome. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

Note: It was easily accessible via the 904 bus which is best caught at the Cornelia metro stop. Exit the bus immediately after passing it on your right.

Hotel Selva Candida is in excellent position of Rome. The position of the hotel is not close to the Historical monuments (20 klm) but in a really quiet area. You can reach the hotel by car or by bus, and the parking place is really convenient. The hotel is surounded by a really nice garden. At my stay in Hotel Selva Candida Rome the weather conditions were excellent and i really enjoyed my morning coffe at the beautiful garden. The service was excellent and the rooms were really confortable.
I strongly recommend this facilities to everyone that wants to visit Rome for vacation.

This is a nice hotel about 10 miles west of Rome. The rooms were very clean and the setting was quiet. It is a converted farm house and looks elegant. A beautiful yard and garden area with big palm trees. You do need a car but we took the bus which stops across the street to Cornelia station and took the trains into the city center. It was a pleasant experience. Breakfasts were very good. The ham and cheese were very good as was the pastries and cereal and other goodies. The bar makes you coffee the way you want it.

We booked the hotel from Florence after reading in the booking description it was only 7k from Rome City Centre.(direct line)
The hotel was good for the accommodation side but the breakfast was basically dry bread, ham, cheese and chocolate pastries. Coffee was supplied by one of the staff but only one cup was available as the staff member disapeared after serving. We had breakfast only 2 of the 6 days as it was a waste of time and we felt as if we were putting them out to serve us.
There are no lunch or evening meals served -there is a shop over the road and that is about it.
The main problem was getting there. If you have no transport give this place a miss. You have to travel from the city centre to the second to last station on the Metro
then find a bus for the next 20 minute journey -or 18 euro by taxi -
to the Hotel. This takes 40 mins to and hour each way.
It is impossible to walk on the road outside the Hotel as there are no footpaths and the speed limit is 80k on a narrow road. You have to push yourself into the hedges as the cars and trucks fly past by just to get to the bus stop that has a timetable of its own.
The Hotel admit the problems with a shrug of the shoulders and thats about it.
