My wife and i stayed in room 304 for 4 nights. The hotel is not like most as you don't have long carpeted corridoors and is set almost like an apartment block. Just like the previous review mentioned, there is no bar or restaurant but that was not a problem for us.
The room was large, high ceilings and nicely decorated, our double bed was two singles pushed together which we did not notice until after the first night - again that was not a problem. The bathroom was a decent size, although we felt the shower was a bit small. The housekeepers did a great job in keeping the room clean, there was hardly any dust.
Breakfast was continental, consisting of an option of tea, coffee, juice (i don't believe they had orange juice). crossaints, biscuits, and toast (the dry type).
There are plenty of restaurants and coffee shops next to the hotel and there's a supermarket just 10mins away. The Spanish Steps is just a 3 min walk up the road. We were able to walk everywhere (make sure you wear good shoes if you do decide to walk), the colosseum is about 20mins walking distance.
Rome is a beautiful city. We had no problems finding our way around and did not encouter any problems with pickpockets or beggers and we felt very safe walking around at night.
