“Wonderful Experience...we loved Olga!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2011

We occupied three rooms with our three daughters and Mother and Father in law on one floor. Such a great location and very clean. We were all very pleased with the food. We were most appreciative of Olga who runs the B&B. She made us a special cake for my daughters birthdays that was incredible. She was extremely attentive to anything that we wanted or needed. Such a lovely person…we felt that we were being cared for by our own grandmother. We were there for five days…Great place to stay!!!

We needed a place to stay and for shower. It delivered on that, though the wifi coverage is patchy sometimes. Breakfast is standard fare. Location is good, within minutes from Roma Termini.

I stayed there with my mom for 4 days. The location is very good, close to Termini station, restaurants etc...The breakfast is very good and the room is nice. The problem is the price, on the same street you can find some hotels much cheaper than this B&B. Olga wasn´t so friendly with us and sometimes she was rude. We didnt like her and we didnt feel so comfortable there.
I wouldnt stay there again.

This B&B has a great central location and is easy to find from the centrail station. Forum and Colloseum are within walking distance ( or 2 stops by metro). The room we had was quite spacious ( it had an extra bed) and so was the bathroom. Breakfast: coffee, juice, toast, cheese, ham, jogurt, cereal. The downside: only Italian TV. The area itself (as many others) has mostly touristic food, so a visit to Trastevere (over the river, bus H) is recommended for some nice local food.

In central Rome, right near the station, located in a quiet street and owned by a lovely landlady.
Make sure you get a room with an ensuite as I mistakenly asked for the room with the private bathroom - was ok, only bathroom was down the hall which was a little annoying.
Breakfasts were very generous - lots and lots of food and coffee!

My husband and I (about 50) stayed here for 6 nights. Oasis is close toTermini railway station, easy to reach monuments (on foot or by public trasport) . The room was small but lovely and it was clean and bathroom was clean too.
Signora Olga, the owner/manager was helpfull and very kind. We arrived at late evening – there was no problem. She gave us a lovely breakfast(every day) in her dining room –She helped us to solve our problem: chooses the best bus, she landeed us umbrelas, she gave some advice because we lost something. She looked after our suitcases on the last day.
We enjoyed Rome and this B&B.
A very good accommodation for the price.

1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2008

We stayed here for 3 nights in mid-July. Needless to say, it was very hot and we were very tired when we got there. First we were shuffled from room to room, finally ending up in the original one. It was large but needed updating badly. Second, the air conditioning shut off after about 15 mins, and would not cut in again by itself. We had to start it everytime. The nights were hot, and I got very little sleep, as I kept waking up to turn on the A/C. Once we left it and a light on when we went out. We knew the A/C would turn off on it's own, and we wanted a night light since the hall lights shut off automatically after a few seconds. When we got back, the A/C remote was missing from our room, and when we went to get it, we were yelled at for a very long time in Italian, with a phone shoved in our faces so we could be yelled at in very bad English. We honestly did not know what we'd done wrong. Needless to say, we did NOT enjoy the rest of our stay. She was always in our faces - this was more like a kids hostel than a B&B. She was nice as pie the next morning, but we could not relax for the rest of our stay, and were very relieved to get out of there. Plus, she keeps your passport, which is NOT necessary. It's a good thing I had my driver's licence with me or I would not have been able to buy time at the internet site. Also, since we only got the one key for each door, and since you needed the keys to operate the elevator and lock the doors, you had to be joined at the hip. If one person went out, you either had to lock the other person in, or leave the door unlocked. The only good thing about it was that it was handy to Termini, but there are at least a thousand other little hotels within a few blocks of the station. All in all, if you don't mind someone in your room everytime you leave and in your face when you return, stay here. We wouldn't if it was the last place in Rome.
