The hotel is in a great location. The Trevi Fountain is very near, but not too near so you don't get bothered by too much tourist traffic. There are loads of proper Italian restaurants around...avoid anything that puts pictures of food on the menu!
Kind of hard to find. It's near the bottom of the hill. On top of the hill you've the Bernini Hotel...just walk down and you'll find it. The hotel was good. Clean towels every day, room cleaned daily as well. The bed was comfortable and the place is pretty quiet at night (just normal traffic).
The breakfast was okay, but the juices they offer are disgusting. Also, the drinks in the little fridge in the room must have been there for months cos they were all dirty (mouldy)from being in there for so long.
Great place to stay in ROME!

Stayed at the Residenza Ki for 3 nights in September. As other people have said could not find it at first as there is no signage for the hotel, you have to go into the reception for another hotel. Room was plain but nice, air con very refreshing and chilled juice just outside the room in the dining room all day. The best thing about the hotel is the location, searched for ages to find a not too expensive hotel in a central location with not much luck, but very glad I booked this one in the end! Its situated on a fairly quiet street, one restaurant next door with a couple of outside tables, but at the end of the street the main touristy area around the trevi fountain starts, with dozens of restaurants with tables on the street and your pick of gelaterias. It was quite pricey around here but we didn't find anywhere else with such a good atmosphere except around Piazza Navona which was much more expensive. If you're looking for a good, reasonably priced hotel and location is important, you won't find better!

We spent a night in this B&B in October 2008. We found the location superb, very close to the Trevi fountain and the bustle of central Rome. The staff were helpful, and the rooms clean.
Overall the price is good, and the location excellent.

Just come back from a weekend away in Rome having stayed at Residenza Ki for 2 nights. This Hotel itself is very hard to find since there is no sign outside so we walked past it couple of times. It is even more confusing because once you find the adress the name of the hotel does not match and the reception for residenza ki is at Fellini Inn....
The room 305 was not big, but clean apart from black hairs on the floor...that kept appearing (not ours!). The lack of bath was dissapointing, but shower was a good size and clean.
The hotel is next to a arch type car tunnel so can get a bit noisy , depending where your room is but once the telly is on you can hardly hear the outside noise and the view from the window is nice anyway.

  • Liked — location
  • Disliked — no bath and double made is made up from 2 single ones! uncomfortable:(

Mom and I decided to spend a week in Rome, and picked Residenza Ki because it offered a good price in a good location.

We were disappointed on the first evening (a Saturday) because our room faced the street, and immediately below us was a restaurant that was holding an outdoor party. (I slept through it, but mom did not.) As it happens, they were going to move us to an interior room the next day anyway. We never had any problem with noise after that. In fact, the restaurant appeared to be closed during the week, and there was no party the following Saturday night.

Apart from that, we had absolutely no problems. The room was always clean. Breakfast was always good. Francesco at reception was always friendly...each morning he would draw us a map of how to get where we were going that day. The hotel is small, tucked away on a little side street... in fact you have to "just know" that you check in at the Hotel Fellini next door. But this was definitely a plus, not a minus. There was always hot water.

Lots of restaurants, bars, cafes, and so on nearby. The metro is a block away, as are main bus routes. We would usually spend our mornings walking to our destination, then take a bus back to our neighborhood in the evening, after dinner...we never had to change buses. The neighborhood felt perfectly safe at all times.

In addition to English, I heard French, German, and several other languages in the breakfast room. It was an ideal little European inn, and I would definitely stay there again.
