We stayed at the Palma Residence for one night on May 24th. We arrived in Rome by train and walked the 3 blocks to the B&B. This was our first B&B experience in Europe and were unsure what exactly to expect. We were extremely pleased.

We had a room with a private bathroom. The entire place was spotless. They provided a map when we checked in and stored our luggage until our room was ready. They took the time to show us how to work the air-conditioner and the TV (although we did not find any channels in English).

Breakfast was a simple European continental breakfast of pastry, juice and coffee, brought right to our room.

The location was extremely handy to the train station, but was not on a busy street. We easily walked to restaurants and other modes of transportation to get to the sites, although once we got to know Rome a bit better we realized that we could have walked to many places from there (particularly for those who like to walk extensively on vacations as we do).

We would happily recommend Palma Residence to anyone travelling to Rome looking for great value for money and a decent location. I hope we can return one day!
