The hotel is in a perfect location - just outside Termini Station, which has a great number of facilities, such as restaurants, coffee shops, supermarkets, pharmacy....
The street of the hotel is busy with cars, scooters and sightseeing buses, but very convenient for tourists.
The room we got was on the top floor and it was average for the price we paid. The bathroom was dated, shabby and the shower cubicle was rather small... you hardly fit in.
The TV had a SKY box attached, but not working, so we were left with 5 or 6 Italian channels. The fridge in the room was handy, but there was no kettle. Shame.
Regarding the aircon - we did not need it as the temperatures outside were mild, but we can imagine it would get really hot in summer and impossible to stay without one.
Breakfast was very nice - choice of hot and cold buffet (pastries, scrambled eggs, muesli, toasts, ham, cheese.... delicious coffee). The breakfast room was tastefully decorated - unlike the bedrooms.
The reception staff were generally ok, some more helpful than the others. They provided everything we requested - hot water for tea, clean towels, an extra pillow, blanket...
After reading some of the previous reviews, we were apprehensive towards this hotel, but we got a very good deal and we were in Rome for sightseeing, so we didn't mind the minor inconveniences in the hotel. We wouldn't mind going back. if we got a good price again.
