This is a nice b&b. Room was cleaned daily with fresh towels. Nice whirlpool bath and shower. Room has laptop with free access which comes in handy for researching restaurants etc.
The b&b has a bus stop directly over the road and termini station/metro is a couple of minutes down the road.
The b&b is in a private apartment block so can be confusing to find as it has no sign outside. Basically it's at the bottom of the road (sorry cannot recall the road name), practically the last large wooden door on the left hand side. If you look to the right of the door where all the individual buzzers are you will see aelius b&b on a small sign. Once inside it's on the second floor.
Flat screen tv only had a couple of English channels, but that won't bother most people as you spend such little time inside. Plenty of restaurants around the local area.

I like this B&B a lot. This is more like a small scale hotel/motel but not the traditional B&B. The host does not live on the property. It's a 3-master suite bedroom condo/apartment in a residential property. Aelius and the building seems newly renovated. It's located very close to Termini so the outside area isn't that appealing. But once you step into the building lobby, it's very clean, bright and clean.

Decoration is cozy and it provides mostly more than expected: mini fridge, plasma, fresh towels daily, jacuzi, even a laptop with internet access in your room! The shower/jacuzi is great. I love it. The 3-bedroom shares a common area with small tables which is where you'll have your breakfast. A staff will make coffee and toaste for you every morning. Small bottle water and fruit are also available. I saw cereal and yogurt too. Other than morning and when you check in, don't expect a staff to be on-site. So ask the staff in the morning if you need anything. They are very nice and helpful.

The only problem is the "possible" noise level. My room face a major street. If you're not a sound sleeper, you could possibly hear scooter early morning. Just shut the windows with A/C and that worked fine for me. I think this is the case everywhere in Rome anyway.

Since it's a 3-bedroom property, it's very quiet but also, this could be where the noise comes from because the walls are sort of thin. Maybe that's another common thing of old Rome building. I haven't stayed at other places so can't compare. Just be considerate and keep your own noise level down in your room. No one will be hanging out in the common area anyway. If you have kids, make sure you keep them very quiet. It can be very noise for others because they could possibly hear everything.

Overall, love this place. I paide 120 euro a night. The place was definitely wonderful for its price. Will come back if I'm in Rome again.

We were at Aelius for 3 nights in October. We had a triple (one double bed and one twin) with a private bath with a multi-spray shower/tub/whirlpool contraption that I loved. Great breakfast: good cappachino, fresh pastries, yogurt, fruit, juice, etc. I wasn't in the other rooms, but I understand that they all have a laptop and a flat-screen TV. My laptop couldn't connect to the internet there, but I was able to use a USB drive to move files back and forth as necessary. There isn't always a staff member present, but they are always there to greet new guests and to prepare breakfast. It seems to be an apartment converted to a B&B, as it is in a larger residential building. The windows opened overlooking a small garden area near the Finance Ministry (if I was reading the signs correctly). Very close to Termini, but very quiet at night.
