“Well, it's Ibis.. Better than other expensive hotels..”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 30, 2013

For 65 euros a night you can't complain about it. Good bed, good shower, complimentary wi-fi and also wide rooms if you're thinking about European standards. The only problem is that is not near downtown, so if you're staying here you'll need a car.

i've stayed in this hotel for 7 nights. the room was good clean and comfortable. very quite. there was no tea or coffea maker but just 2 minutes walking from the hotel there is a very nice bar "La Terrazza" where you can have a very good cappuccino and croissant for only 2.50€. staff is kind but looks not well trained..the hotel is far from the city center but for me was not a problem because i hired a car.

I was fed up by the time we arrived, having walked fifteen minutes along the main road from Muratella train station. The road is dangerous for pedestrians so make sure you buy a bus ticket for the frequent 128 bus before you get on the train at Termini. Hotel clean ,quiet, comfortable with good facilities.Staff were helpful and spoke good english. about 45 minutes to get into centre of Rome by public transport for 1.5 euro which runs til past midnight.Bus tickets available from shop right next door.We thought we would get the train from Muratella to the airport in the morning. Apparently not. Was told by staff you have to buy ticket at Termini, so rather than going all the way back to Termini we took a 15 minute 40 euro taxi ride to airport.
To sum up, nice hotel, if you are organised with bus and train tickets an ideal hotel for visiting Rome and Fiumicino airport
