Rome Central Suites is located in a shopper’s paradise one block from the Spanish steps. This is a small hotel on the third floor; I believe it was above the Versace store. The elevator is very tiny, one person and bag at a time, but there are very wide steps that you can access the lobby with. The third floor had only a hand full of rooms, we rented both quad rooms. If you want to separate rooms request the quad behind the office since this has a room with a queen bed, hallway and then two twin beds with a small table and internet port. It also overlooks a quite courtyard. The bathroom was modern and the decor is traditional elegant Italian. The other quad is at the opposite end and is also a good size room but all of the beds are in one room. The optional breakfast was wonderful; the chocolate croissants are a special treat. We were staying with two young toddlers and the staff was very tolerant and helpful with them. We did not see any other Americans this hotel seems to cater more to European travelers. Even though the hotel is small the concierge is staffed 24 hours a day, with very helpful people we dealt mostly with Danil who was very helpful and friendly. There is no parking in this area but the staff can arrange something near buy, approach by taxi is recommended we had trouble getting within a few blocks when we came from Tuscany with our rental car. If you are looking for a low key traditional European hotel in the heart of designer shopping and the Spanish steps this hotel is great choice. We looked at many other options that would not have been nearly as nice for the price we paid at rome central suites.
