We stayed 4 nights at Domus Livia at the end of May and enjoyed the place and the experience. The room was fairly large and was very comfortable although the air conditioning was at the margin of adequate for warm weather. The staff could not have been nicer or more accomodating and tried very hard to make sure we enjoyed our stay, with some success. Our only complaint was the lack of assistance with such things as luggage, but we knew that going in. This is by no means a highly luxurious place but it's one that someone concerned with location and comfort will find a good value.

The Hotel is a floor appartments in a building. its location is great, 5 mn walking distance from train station, direct access to Buses. 10-15 mn walking distance to Fontana de Trevi.
We were 4 girls, requested a quadruple room. it was spacy enough and clean.
People working in the hotel are very friendly and helpful. especially Laura.
We felt very comfortable. Spacious toilet. Free internet access. Breakfast was brought to the room. (croissant, bread, jam, nutella, juice, and a selection of hot beverage to choose).
i recommend it to anyone seeking practicality and cleanliness in the hotel.
if i want to add a negative points, they will resume into :
1. no one available to help with the luggages.
2. the lights in the room were a little deemed.
The experience was very nice, i would book in this hotel next time i visit Rome.

We stayed at the Domus Livia for three nights, its not easy to find.
Its within another Hotel called Miami Hotel.

The rooms are ok, the bathroom was quite small but adequate, not as good as the photos on the websites. We were on the fourth floor and the noise from the traffic did keep us awake at night. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was the same every day 1 croissant and 1 roll each. Jams, spreads and butter were in the fridge.

Seemed quite expensive compared with other hotels we looked on the web and no better. We paid 480 euros for the 3 nights.

  • Liked — Bed was comfortable
  • Disliked — Traffice noise ,bathroom shower would not stay up

We spent our first four nights in Italy in Rome at the Domus Livia in mid-May. It was a lovely, clean guesthouse; it made us feel as if we were staying in a local's apartment. The room was very nice; we had no trouble with it at all as the A/C was working hard for us with the unseasonably warm weather. The staff was friendly, especially Carlo, the night manager. The breakfasts served in-room were wonderful--the caffe couldn't have been better anywhere in Italy! Our only complaint is that the room did not have a phone, and the staff was inconsistent about allowing us to use the phone at the front desk. We were told at night that as long as we had a calling card (we did), that we could use it, but the daytime manager was very rude when we requested the use of the phone. Unfortunately, our travel agent had failed to inform us we would not have an in-room phone for our first several days in Italy, so we felt a bit put out. All things considered, however, we were very happy with the room and the location. We would book this guesthouse again with little hesitation.

  • Liked — The in-room breakfast
  • Disliked — Lack of in-room phone

Tina Londres, Inglaterra.
